Thyler Ng (aged 9), Spanish School of Hong Kong
My mother knows I love to study and collect interesting stones. During the summer holiday, she took me to visit an exhibition called “Journey with Minerals” by L’ÉCOLE School of Jewelry Arts. It was quite an exciting exhibition.
The guide told us about these geologic wonders’ properties and beauty, explaining how they fit into matter, jewellery, technology, arts and space.
At the end, we visited the “MinerAlphabet Station”, where visitors get a personalised “MinerAlphabet card” by scanning a QR code to unlock a stunning mineral animation. I learned a lot from this exhibition!

Mikaela Wong (aged 9), St Paul’s Convent School
This summer, I went to Osaka, Japan. I visited KidZania, an interactive city where kids can role-play different jobs. I’ve visited it several times before. I’m so excited to hear that KidZania is opening in Hong Kong!
My brother and I love the jobs in KidZania city. Now we know that being an adult is hard work. I loved being a nurse and taking care of babies. Being a doctor is my dream job; through these experiences, I learned about the tools and procedures of doing surgery. Although the jobs are fun, I know they may not be that exciting every day.
The one in Hong Kong will be open to the public in 2025. I love KidZania! It’s full of excitement.
