Uprooted, written by Ruth Chan, is an amazing book for people of all ages. It’s about a girl named Ruth who migrates from Canada all the way to Hong Kong.

Ruth faces many challenges, including leaving beloved friends and learning a language she isn’t very good at. Ruth also learns how hard it was for her dad’s family to leave their home and move somewhere new.

As Ruth makes new friends, gets used to her new school and starts to learn a new language, she realises Hong Kong is not as bad as she thinks.

One day, when she thinks everything is going well, her best friend starts to ignore her for no reason. Ruth also starts to feel like her parents don’t understand her.

How will she figure things out? This is your chance to learn how Ruth fixes all her problems and what discoveries she makes.

This is an amazing book for people who have experienced big moves or changes in their lives.

It is an exciting, powerful story that helps you learn from the problems Ruth faces and how she gets through them. I really recommend reading this book.
