Allison Chan (aged 10), The True Light School of Hong Kong, Primary and Kindergarten Section
My favourite animals are dogs because they are adorable. I have always wanted a puppy, but my parents refuse to get one. They said they would rather buy me a digital pet.
During our end-of-term ceremony, I received two awards from my teacher. When I walked onto the stage, everyone clapped and cheered for me. I was over the moon!

Christina Kong Jiayi (aged 9), Cumberland Presbyterian Church Yao Dao Primary School
My favourite subject is English because we learn new words and how to write stories.
I also enjoy swimming very much. I started learning when I was seven. I learned how to swim in Sichuan province.
My favourite animals are birds because they are cute and cuddly. I have seven birds. Five of them are yellow and grey, one is white and light blue, and the last one is red and green.
I have a big family. I have a sister, a mother and a father. My mother and father are always nice to me, apart from when I do something bad. Then, they might shout at me.

Jamie Hui (aged 8), Kowloon Junior School
I am going to tell you about my day out with my family. We went cycling in Kowloon Bay, where I learned how to ride a two-wheel bike! It was not as hard as I thought it would be. While cycling, my dad fell, but luckily, he did not get hurt too badly.
After cycling, we went to Mong Kok for mixed cold noodles, egg waffles and ice cream. Then, we played squash until 8.30pm.
It was late, so we had instant noodles for dinner. It was the yummiest dinner ever! We all felt very tired and fell asleep quickly. I loved my family day!
