When we take care of our minds and bodies, we can bounce back from challenges, make friends and discover new adventures.

Here are two activities that will sprinkle some joy and peace into your life. If you are grateful for what you have, you will feel more content. If you spend time in nature, you can find the beauty in the world around you.

Materials

  • jar or container

  • stickers

  • paper

  • pen

Instructions

  1. Find an empty jar or container. You can decorate it with stickers or paint to make it special.

  2. Tear the paper into smaller pieces. Write down things you are thankful for. These can be people, experiences or even your favourite toys.

  3. Fold the notes, and put them inside the jar. You can add to it every day or week.

  4. At the end of the month, gather with family or friends and read the notes together. Share why you are grateful for these things.
