I want to recommend the book Room 13 by Robert Swindells.

It is an interesting book about a girl named Fliss who goes on a school trip. At first, she was excited to go, but then she had a scary dream and she did not want to go any more.

In the dream, she lost control of her legs; it seemed as if they controlled her. She told her mum she didn’t want to go on the trip.

However, her mum said that everything was OK. She believed that Fliss just had a nightmare and didn’t need to be afraid.

But her mum might have been wrong. When Fliss and her classmates arrived at the creepy guest house, Crow’s Nest Hotel, on Whitby’s West Cliff, spooky things started to happen.

A mysterious room seemed to appear after midnight, and one of her classmates started acting strangely.

Fliss and her friends must work together to unravel the mystery in this spooky tale.
